We provide dietitian services for everyone in the community where a referral letter isn't required if you aren't under a Medicare care plan. Dietitian services are also available if you don't have health insurance.

In-Person, Online or Phone Dietitian Fee

  • Initial consultation (50 minutes): $130
  • Review consultations (30 minutes): $90
  • At-home visits : $130 + $20 (initial) or $90 + $20 (review) - Offered within 20km of Clyde North or Berwick, however contact us for visits outside these suburbs

Clients with Private Health Insurance
Depending on your extras coverage through your private health insurance, you will only need to pay the gap amount. Please send us a message here with your health insurance fund name and member number prior to the appointment for us to claim on your behalf and reduce the consultation cost.

Alternatively, after the appointment, a receipt can be provided for you to claim the rebate amount by lodging the receipt with your insurer if you make an initial full payment amount.

Medicare Holders with a Health Care Plan

Clients with a chronic medical condition, have complex care needs or eating disorder may qualify for the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan or Eating Disorders Treatment (EDP) plan. Please speak to your local doctor to check your eligibility and to obtain a referral form prior to making a booking.

  • Telehealth - initial and review consultations: Bulk-billed (no out of pocket costs for clients)
  • At-home visits (Offered within 20km of Clyde North or Berwick, contact us if outside these suburbs)  - A gap fee between the dietitian fee and travel fee of $20

Cancellation Policy

  • With 2 business days notice or more - No Fee
  • 1 business day's notice - 50% Fee
  • Same-day cancellation or non-attendance fee - full fee

To reschedule, cancel an appointment or if you are running late, either contact us here or leave a message for a call back on 04131 06177.

Fees are implemented to encourage attendance or give notice if patients cannot attend appointments to prevent long wait times for other patients and poor dietitian resource utilisation.

Additionally, the fees are to recoup lost revenue. As a small business, fees are used for operating costs including insurance premiums, registrations and accreditation, equipment, utilities, website and marketing fees and wages.
